Home Care Service
What is domiciliary home care or daily domiciliary care?
Domiciliary care services allow you to remain in the comfort of your own home while our team of carers provides support with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, medication prompts, and assisting with household chores.
How do you choose your domiciliary carers?
All of our daily home carers undergo not one, but two thorough interviews. They also complete psychometric testing to ensure they possess the right temperament for the role. Additionally, we always request references from at least people and speak with them directly. To further ensure safety, all our carers complete a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
Why choose a home care agency instead of hiring a private, self-employed carer?
Our team of carers are all professionally trained, and we handle all the reference checks, interviews, and management of your care, so you don’t have to. We also offer backup carers, ensuring that if your regular carer is unavailable, we’ll have someone else to cover. At Allfor Care, we prioritise providing peace of mind for you and your family.
How do I arrange for carers to come and visit me?
Please call our care office, where one of our friendly team members will be happy to assist you. After gathering some initial details, we’ll arrange a visit to discuss your care needs in more depth. During this visit, we can talk about how often you’d like carers to visit each day and for how long.
How do we ensure you're receiving the right service?
We will conduct a review with you, your carers, and any family or friends involved to discuss the service you’re receiving. This conversation helps us ensure we are meeting your needs and maintaining high-quality service standards.
How long do the carers stay for?
Our carers visit from 30 minutes to 24 hours. We believe this is the shortest time in which we can truly provide quality care, allowing us to check in, have a quick chat, and ensure you’re safe and well before moving on to the next person.
Of course, you can book carers for longer than 30 minutes. We can arrange for visits lasting a few hours to assist with longer tasks, such as shopping, cleaning, or simply providing some company.
How can I make a complaint, suggestion, or compliment?
At Allfor Care, we are committed to providing quality services and value your feedback. If you have any complaints, suggestions, or compliments about the service you receive, please don’t hesitate to contact our office. We’re here to listen and improve.
Cleaning Service
Should I try to remove a brand new stain on my carpet, or wait for the cleaning team?
If there is excess liquid or a spill, it’s a good idea to gently blot it with paper towels or a clean cloth. Avoid rubbing the stain or using any stain removal solutions before the team arrives. The cleaners will pre-treat the stain and use the appropriate cleaning solution for your carpet type.
How should I prepare for the carpet cleaning service?
All you need to do is move the heavier furniture off the carpet if possible. The cleaners will handle lighter furniture, such as chairs and tables, but they cannot move large, heavy items. If a piece of furniture cannot be moved, the cleaners will use special protection for its legs or base to prevent any damage during the deep cleaning.
Can I feel safe with your cleaners in my home?
Absolutely. All of our cleaners have been carefully selected and thoroughly vetted, including background checks and police record verification. They are professional, trusted individuals, so you can feel secure. Additionally, our cleaning services are fully insured for your peace of mind.
Can you offer other cleaning services alongside my carpet cleaning booking?
Yes, we offer a wide range of cleaning services, including upholstery, mattresses, windows, ovens, one-off cleans, end-of-tenancy cleaning, and more. Combining services is a great idea, as booking multiple services at once will give you significant discounts on the overall price.
I have a question that’s not on the FAQ list. Who should I contact?
If you have any questions that aren’t covered in the FAQ, you can reach our customer care service at the phone line 020 8930 3085, available at any time for enquiries about services, prices, promotions, and more. Alternatively, you can contact us online via the online form.
Transport Service
How do I qualify for your transport service?
You qualify for transport if you are elderly or disabled and are unable to access public transport.
Does the transport service run on weekends or bank holidays?
Unfortunately, we do not operate on weekends or bank holidays. Our transport services are available Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 16:30.
Can I travel with a family member or friend?

This applies only if you require an escort. If your friend is not an escort, they would need to pay for their own membership and fare.
Can I Travel with my wheelchair or electric scooter?
